Wells 31 – Wath Upon Dearne 22
Could there be a better way to end the season than a cup winning display at the home of English rugby, Twickenham. ? For the Wells players and hundreds of flag waving supporters, the answer is emphatically, no.
Wath Upon Dearne from Yorkshire were an unknown quantity as far as Wells were concerned. A look at their website showed that they were one game away from promotion and were a big team with plenty of big match experience. The programme notes confirmed this.

Wells 18 – Drybrook 10
Back in the cold dark days of February, Wells made the journey to Drybrook in the Forest of Dean and took their first step on the road to Twickenham. Last Saturday on a cold dark day in April Wells met the same opposition, although this time at home and for the probably greater prize, promotion to the Western Counties Leagues.
