Burnham away.

Having drawn against Burnham earlier in the saeson Wells had high hopes for this game but after they scored in the first minute through an interception Burnham really had the wind in there sails and two more followed in the first half. After a good talking to at half time Wells went out with more about them, scruming, rucking, mauling, tackling and our lines of running were all much improved,i feel we were unlucky not to have crossed the line at all.Well done to "T",Ben M,Ollie H and Jordon who all had great games.

Hardest game to date

Although a heavy defeat for Wells this is a side that have not conceded a try all season and Wells managed to put two past them. Our main problem areas were at every ruck or maul the ball was turned over and St Brendans came away with it.Our first try came from a great run by Levi W with a brilliantly timed pass to Ben M for him to touch down. The second came from (in my opinion)man of the match Alexander M who gave 100% all game putting pressure on and tackling continuously a well deserved try.

Battle at Clevedon

Well what can i say about this game,to start with as usual we were out sized by the opposition with Clevedon having a huge front row but again they were no match for the skill of our own pack keeping the scrums up and pushing them back every time. This said Clevedon scored first through a thundering run by a big forward and a few missed tackles from our boys.

First away fixture of the season

The Wells pack really had there work cut out against a very big opposition but they stepped up winning all there own put in"s at the scrum and alot of the saints too,a front row of Jordon , Fraser and  Ben C really worked well together all three having a great game.

This week saw the return of Big Finn after a spell off with a boken thumb,he is a real hussler and put the Saints under pressure the entire game, scoring twice with his powerful forward running.
