Under 7's & Micro
The Under 7's squad consists of both true under 7's as well as the so called Micro Players who are not technically old enough for the Under 7's but who want to come along and pick up those early rugby skills. They all train together as a squad, but the RFU stipulates that players must be at least 6 years old to participate in competitive matches.

At theses ages there is no contact, as players are taught mainly running, handling and positioning skills, with tackling simulated by the removal of tags. A smaller size 3 ball is used.
Training and matches are on Sunday's from 10:30 to 12:00, with at this stage the emphasis being more on training than on competitive matches. Parents are requested to stay at the club while their children are training, as the occasional bump may require a reassuring parent to soothe a brused confidence.
If there any more boys or girls in Years 1 or 2 who would like to join us we would be delighted to see you at a training session on Sunday. No experience neccesary just enthusiasm and commitment!
