Wells Rugby Club

Wells has a very active Youth Section, with squads from Under 13s to Under 16s.

Training for most teams is on Wednesday evening, from 18:30 - 20:30, at the Club's pitches.

Winter training at the Blue School Astro pitch from Wednesday 4th November through to December 23rd December 2009 & From 6th January 2010 through to 24th March 2010.
Times are:
18.30 > 19.30 - U/13s & U/14's
19.30 > 20.30 - U/15's & U/16's

Age groups are determined by a player's age on the 31st August. For example, if you turn 14 on or before 31st August, then you are Under 15 for the season that commences on 1st September.

U19 Law Variations

In rugby we refer to the Laws of the Game, rather than rules. Like the Mini/Midi game, the laws are modified for Under 19 players, with slightly different modifications applying at each age group.
