Wells RFC receives from the RFU an allocation of tickets to England 1st XV Home Internationals which it can pass on to its members and supporters.
The allocation is usually quite limited. Tickets for Juniors are extremely limited, usually to two for a given match. There may also be a small allocation to England away games.
Tickets can be requested during a window of usually about 10 days prior to tickets becoming available from the RFU. The windows will be advertised on the club website and in the clubhouse, and to Club members and supporters by email. If during this window, tickets for a given match are oversubscribed, then a ballot will be used to determine the successful applicants. If undersubscribed during the window, then remaining tickets will be provided on a first come, first served basis up to the available limit. All tickets are offered at cost price plus the addition of a handling charge, currently £5 per ticket.
Tickets are offered subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the RFU.
Tickets must not be resold under any circumstances, but can usually be returned for a refund up to a few days before the match. Failure to comply could lose the Club its allocation, and could lead to disciplinary proceedings against the ticket holder.
How to Purchase Tickets
All requests for tickets must be made using the RFU’s GMS system. You will need your Username, which is found at the bottom of all emails sent from the GMS system to members. You will also need your password, but if you don't have it you can request a new password using the Forgot Password button.
Tickets must be paid for at time of request. If the allocation is oversubscribed, unsuccessful applicants will be refunded. If any adjustments to payments are required, such as if a category of seat is changed due to unavailability, these will usually be handled when tickets are distributed.
Should there be any questions, please contact the International Ticket Contact, whose details are on the Contacts page.
